The secret lies in the careful mixing of top quality ingredients, which give our preparations their outstanding taste naturally, without any need to add aromas or chemical additives like monosodium glutamate.

Our raw materials are processed gently in order to keep their organoleptic properties intact; to enhance the already excellent taste of the products we add small amounts of spices and salt, using iodized salt rather than normal sea salt.

In line with the latest nutritional trends, Bauer has created a whole range of products that are completely free of hydrogenated fats, thus contributing to the promotion of a light and healthy diet, consistent with the latest food trends.

Monosodium glutamate: Bauer has created a range of stock preparations free of monosodium glutamate, a chemical additive usually used to heighten the flavour and the tastiness of food. The quality of Bauer ingredients is such that there is no need to use these additives.

Iodized salt: The use of iodized salt instead of sea salt was recommended in the recent food education campaign promoted by the Italian Ministry of Health. Law no. 55 dated March 21st 2005 provides for the use of iodized salt in the preparation and conservation of food products, recognizing its effectiveness in preventing pathologies caused by iodine deficiency.

Hydrogenated fats: Hydrogenation is an industrial process that transforms oils into solid fats. According to the World Health Organization, a reduction in consumption of hydrogenated fats reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease.
