In September 2002 Bauer obtained certification of its Quality System from the CSQA Certification Authority, which specialises in the food and agriculture sector, in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2000 norm for the "Production and sale of preparations for stock, precooked sauces, aromas based on spices, mushrooms and dehydrated vegetables". The system was implemented in order to guarantee greater effectiveness in meeting customers’ needs by adopting a working method that allows all the production phases to be controlled at the maximum quality level.
Bauer strives every day to offer consumers high quality food products, always giving pride of place to customer satisfaction and guaranteeing control of the production cycle. Bauer is able to offer a range of products that combine taste with safety and wholesomeness.
In 1997 Bauer obtained certification by the present Ethical and Environmental Certification Institute (I.C.E.A.), and started production of fully organic vegetable stock preparations, both granular and in cubes, based on yeast extract.
The I.C.E.A. supervises and certifies organic products with particular scrupulousness, monitoring the production processes adopted, the raw materials used, the choice of suppliers and the management of loading and unloading operations in the warehouse.
The I.C.E.A. makes it mandatory that all raw materials of organic origin be stored separately from other raw materials normally used, in order to avoid any kind of contamination.
